Sorry, sometimes the rest of the world cannot understand your comedy, for some reason.
Hidden rules of etiquette being broken, etc.
Definitely not as crass as some American humor, but definitely hard to laugh at at times.
Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson great, however.

Melvin Udall: Never, never, interrupt me, okay?
Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.
Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.

Mitch Hedberg (I don't know why it says 2017, dudes been dead for years.) / Dave Attell (still alive and kicking, saw him twice in concert)

I like Fluffy/Gabriel Iglesias. His specials are funny.

Bill Maher's "I'm Swiss" routine, George Carlin (most of his stuff), Fluffy Iglesias & some of Chris Rock's stuff was decent as well.
I may be a total redneck in this regard, but I also love me some Jeff Foxworthy & Bill Engvall.

Does anyone remember Curly (The Three Stooges) and Charlie Chaplin?

Check out my avatar.
This Malcom Tucker character is one more gem i always go back to, when i don't know what to watch.
I find it very comforting that some people get hired to create colorful new insults, to be inserted into the strong dialogs of this hysterical serie. My all time favorite serie until now. Frenchs like politics a lot, however we never had a serie about it worth watching. The American adaptation Veep is quite entertaining, like The Office US version, but still not as coarse and grim and shameless than the superior UK original.
So....Monthy Pythons / Mitchell & Webb / Ricky Gervais / John Oliver / George Carlin / Louis CK / Bill Burr / Bill Maher / Jim Jefferies / Larry David, these are my routine English speaking comedy geniuses.
We have French ones equivalents of some of these guys, and also French guys stealing jokes from these guys and beiing currently exposed for the joke thefts. I guess with time more and more frogs get able to get English (we were late on this since ages, still are), and these things happens. However, even without Trump or Brexit, we have enough internal stuff to make fun of, but many nowadays tv comics are pretty lame, due to the politically correct language atmosphere nowadays. I don't watch tv anymore. More stuff, less quality anyway down here.
Keep on producing the good stuff UK, we're watching and listening.

Not quite sure between Donald Trump or Theresa May. Both make me laugh uncontrollably when they open their mouths
