What's up with Kampot ? Is it next in line ?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Recommend this place in Kep - The Crab Kitchen - best deal is the crab soup on the starter menu for $5 as it is full of crab meat and far more than if you have to extract your own for several dollars more

Travel with a Khmer and one constant is "klean" - so tried the new refurbished hotel on Bokor

Though it seems a tad expensive the prawn salad with tempura zucchini for $9 was quite a large size - but first you get a variety of hot assorted bread rolls and butter, then a amuse boche of a warm tomato soup. The meal came delivered in a silver cloche. So not too bad really and the coffee is good as well. Throw in the grand opulence and it is a nice experience

Four types of 'Sushi Balls' for $3 at the now apparently defunct Kampot Hilton. Shame as Ric and Jonno sure could cook well

Great bargain is the Bruschetta at L'Osteria for $2 - I scoffed 1/2 before I remebered to take a foto
