Dengue hemorrhagic fever

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Good luck. I guarantee you will feel worse after the appointment when you see the bill :plus1:

This.

I got a little more pragmatic during last evening and regretted making an appointment when I assessed my symptoms more carefully. But better safe than sorry.

Will get the blood results by tonight. I'll feel embarrassed about making this thread if they come back negative

Whether you have it or not you are alive and had enough info and opinions to make a objective decision.

Never complain when you wake up in the morning, it is the best start to a new day. The other alternative is not good......

There are four kinds of dengue, and each one is different enough that you don't get immunity. Bone-break fever is the bad one, one's like a cold, the others in-between. This is why they tell you to go home if you get an easy one. 6 weeks in hospital and the loss of four stone has been described to me.
