Re: End of an era - Charlie Harper’s sold
I see a change in cambodia.
Big change.
All the old cambodia has beer cleared and moved on and made place for a new, expensive, slightly boring version cambodia.
The main reasons most came in the first plave are no longer valid such as cheapness, raw authentic experience and good company.
Sad but true.
My advice is
If you cannot live in SEA, Make your home country fun and find your ur little niche there.
SEA doesn't need another deadhead barang begging for his next bottle of mekong...
Big change.

To which I usually reply: Choosing Madagascar would have proven to be less of a risky choice.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 10:52 pmhave to agree some whatBeerinthemorning wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 4:27 pm All the old cambodia has beer cleared and moved on and made place for a new, expensive, slightly boring version cambodia.

Why should the locals be held back from progress?
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
