Not one machete, hatchet or sword amongst the weapons? Cambodia is getting soft. Makes me pine for the good ol' days.

Update: It seems that the motive behind the attack was simply the age-old male quest of a group of guys looking for someone to beat the shit out of when drunk. The odds were stacked, 15 to 7, armed against unarmed. Fortunately the police arrived before someone was killed.

4 January 2018
- Two groups of construction workers clashed with each other yesterday in Preah Sihanouk province’s Sihanoukville, with two men left seriously injured.
The fighting took place at about 1am yesterday at a building construction site. It involved two groups, one of 15 workers and the other of seven. Kong Chantheon, a provincial police officer, said the group of 15 instigated the fight.

Both groups were drinking beer on the construction site in different locations that night, and ended up having an argument.

The group of 15 seized weapons, sticks and steel rods, and attacked the smaller group, who did not have any weapons and fought back using only their bare hands. The group of seven tried to flee, but two of them were caught and severely beaten. They suffered serious injuries to the head, legs and hands...

Good to see that no druggies, backpackers, overstayers; barangs or chinese are involved. Just goes to show how much things are changing in shitsville.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
