I'm an engineering student specializing in plasturgy currently in France and I'm looking for an internship overseas. I've lived in Cambodia with my family for quite a long time and I thought it would be great to do an internship there.

I was wondering if anyone knew about the plastic industry in Cambodia, dealing with technologies such as injection molding, extrusion and/or rotomolding.

You might find something in one of the SEZ. I looked last year and there was only 1 company I could find. Australina guy I think making buckets and washing up bowls. Plastic uses a lot of electricity and electricity is not cheap or stable in Cambodia, and the raw material is expensive so most of the plastic come from Vietnam or Thailand.

There was an Australian company in a Phnom Penh SEZ making plastic eskies a few years ago.
