Harry is a German electrician, who exists day to day on small jobs. He lives fairly close to the edge.
He's done a few jobs in our bars and we've had a variety of Eastern European guys coming in and asking where he is as he owes them money. In fact on one occasion he left us a note, telling us that if he disappeared it would be due to his 'enemies' taking care of him. I still have a copy somewhere.
He had a neat little scam going that took us a while to figure out.
Say we wanted all extractor fans cleaned and checked. He would tell us that one needed replacing. We would give him the money to buy a new one. He would however clean up the existing one very well, get it going again and just pocket the money we'd given him for the new one. This was done with fans, lights, power sockets etc.
He also regularly offered us very cheap alcohol, claiming it was from a general who had excess stock after a large party. It presumably actually came from Panda Mart or other mini-marts.
