is this the end of the building boom?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Where is that? I've never heard of it. Surely you don't mean Chroy Changvar?
Comme a la maison still there near the Bellevue? Decent specials on baked goods after 8pm, I think.

Also, a GREAT organic farm outlet there, too. Super fresh, very tasty. NOT expensive, either!

Fresh frylings every morning! I like 'em deep-fried in a pan will do, I eat them whole like French fries.

How about those very simple but tasty banh cheo joints, with super fresh greens? I kinda trust Muslims more with food prep in this country.

Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.

Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.

Oh dear. disaster day. Gor a one bed with carpark view for $350 a month. Pool and gym included, but no wifi or cable. They are $16 and $7 a month extra. You do get cleaning once a week. Microwave, electric hob, washing machine and balcony. pay monthly.
If you want to use the gym and pool and you are not resident its $130 or $140 a month, forgot which. But the bloody traffic on that bridge! 30 minutes to street 136 on a moto

The landlords are now starting to find good tenants ... Expect freebies!

Extra large, or extra LED flatscreens, better beds, etc.

Doesn't hurt to ask, if you're a good tenant!
