Mob Feel Relaxed & Happy After Beating Jao to Death

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

That's my neighborhood. There was also the guy shot in the head on Tuesday 3 AM out of a Range Rover on the overpass nearby. I drove past a giant streak of blood a few hours later shaking my head wondering how anyone could crash there. 8-)

How many posters recently said the country is a safe place....................................
Always "hope" but never "expect".

What an unusual reaction. Someone says killing is wrong, and you ban them? I am not on here frequently, so I do not know if the poster has ‘history’. As an outsider it seems a strange response.
mr chorlton has some recent warning and banning history that those who do not follow the forum closely would not understand.
he will understand perfectly though.
As an individual who has received a few of Chorlton's offensive pm's, I applaud the effort, FLB!

But when you beat him, use a feather duster.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Yes, I still think this place is safer (for us, at the very least) than many other countries.

I'm still looking at high-school level petty crime. If you have half a brain, none of this should faze you.

Shootings happen every night in big cities in the West. This last shooting? Concerning, but I it is not the norm. Like comparing a guerrilla war to a single shooting. Just not on the same scale.
Melvin Udall: Never, never, interrupt me, okay?

Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.

Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.

holiday season is supposed to be about joy and good will towards man
yet here on ceo we seem to have nothing but BS ,coming at us from all sides.
