Suicide bomber in Kampong Cham
Kompong Cham Province: A former military official committed suicide by embracing a bomb and causing a burial of dead intestines on the stairs of his house in front of his house. It happened at 5:30 pm on December 16, at the victim's home in Khang Village, Damay district.
The man waited until his wife and children were out tending to their cows, then blew himself up inside his house. There was a big explosion and the neighbors came to investigate before calling the police.
The victim, named Thuy Yong, 62, had a previous history of mental health issues.RIP.

Re: *Lone, Isolated* Suicide bomber in Kampong Cham *Kills Only Himself*
Oh, so it wasn't aimed at anybody and has NO religious overtones?
OK. Sounds a bit sensational, though. See my renamed title?

Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.
Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.

Re: Suicide bomber in Kampong Cham
The following lines from the local news explain the reasons for his death well enough.
[Mashed translation]
[Mashed translation]
18 December 2017
- Brigadier General Doung Nhea, deputy police chief of Bavet district, said that the man had served as soldiers during the late 1980's, while the country Cambodia broke the civil war on the Thai border after 1979. At that time, Thuy Duong was injured by a shrapnel, causing tetanus to be permanent.
Today. The reason for this man's suicide was that he was upset with the disease, so the bomber blew himself up to suicide. End of life.

Re: *Lone, Isolated* Suicide bomber in Kampong Cham *Kills Only Himself* *Over Illness*
So, another title could have read:
"Re: *Lone, Isolated* Suicide bomber in Kampong Cham *Kills Only Himself* *Over Illness*"
