I was getting worried that there weren't enough coffee chains. Lucky that is going to be put to rest.
Brown's
Costa
Eric Kayser
Gloria Jean's
Starbucks
Amazon Cafe (must have around 50 new shops in the last year or so)
Coffee Today
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Joma
& all the independents. Where are they gonna find the space?

Could do with a poll. Which is the best tasting and value?. When I was in SR I paid something like $2.50 for a cup of coffee in a Proper coffee shop (in the street with the massage places). Later, found a small kiosk on the street near temple and river. Enjoyed their $1 brew more for the taste.cautious colin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2017 10:05 am I was getting worried that there weren't enough coffee chains. Lucky that is going to be put to rest.

Sooner or latte, a few will emerge, and the rest will die a slow death

Amazon seems like hit and miss, far too many, and some may be too close to each other.frank lee bent wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2017 5:03 pm amazon is going to be the front runner

I don't like it because it only serve one size coffee, and the serve too small,
Walk in the one in City Mall one morning about 7am, 5 staffs there and no one can find a packet of sugar.
Next time, to different Amazon store nearby, and they said they don't serve hot coffee.
I prefer Brown or others that actually make other food.
Brown seems to have stop expanding.

Coffee is a legal addiction, like alcohol and tobacco (and sex, too).
Customers always want more, and new ones can get hooked.
Yay. Change paradise. Lots of over-caffeinated people.
Then again, wait. Maybe a stimulated hospitality and servicd class is needed.
Put in the IVs. Wake up, Cambodia!
Haha.

Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.
Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.

Oh, tosh.
In moderation, and without much sugar, it's very good for most people.
