Part Time English Teaching Jobs?

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

Part Time English Teaching Jobs?

Post by splumlee »

Are there any schools that offer part time work?

I have the 9/11 G.I. Bill to pay for my schooling, so I want to do online school and finish my Bachelors degree, while living in Cambodia...

And for a work permit... I thought i should teach somewhere, but i want to do more school online, so I wanted to only work part time, or a few hours a week, no more than 20 hours per week.

Do you think I can find a job like that? or is it difficult to find part time english teaching jobs..

I have TEFL and I have a 2 year degree, but I'm working on my 4 year bachelors now...

My email is also [email protected]

Yes, try:
Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC)- main campus near Royal Palace
Westline: any campus
BELTEI: apply at any campus or go to BELTEI International University near Tuol Sleng
ELT: St 136

G.I. Bill? it is something the U.S. Army gives to it's veterans.. it pays for all tuition costs, and gives "BAH" or housing cost allowance, of about 1,000 USD per month, if you take a full semester of classes, so like 4 classes.

I want to take 4 classes, and work part time...in Cambodia.

those two schools you listed are in PHnom Penh right>>?

Also, will those two places hire me part time english teacher with TEFL, but no BA degree?

I am finishing my BA online while i hope to find part-time work teaching English, I do have TEFL.... will they hire me without BA degree?

I am sure they will consider you without the B.A. Just tell them your working on your B.A.

All those schools are in Phnom Penh.

Here are their websites:
http://www.puc.edu.kh/index.php/institu ... -languages
http://www.westlineschool.org/
http://www.beltei.edu.kh/eng/
http://www.eess.edu.kh/

Most schools need more teachers for late afternoon/early evening than the rest of the day because that's when students want to study English.

By the way, you it will be much easier for you to find a job if you are white. You are white aren't you?
