Man dies with arm caught in factory machine rollers

PHNOM PENH - A man, identified as TUO YANGJIAN, died in a terrible accident around 3 pm on December 7 when he got caught in a paper-making machine at a small factory in Prey Chom village, Choam commune, Chouy 2, Por Sen Chey.
Witnesses said that the machine was stuck and the victim was trying to remove the obstruction with his hand when the motor started up again trapping his arm in the rollers. The man was pulled into the machine by the rollers and died instantly.

The body was taken away to the pagoda without informing the police of the incident. However, the police heard of the accident and came for an inspection of the premises the next day. It is not mentioned if the factory will be charged with insufficient safety regulations.
