What are "western snob elefant backpackers" exactly?

OP - regarding tours, I think the only one you should really do/have time to do, is go to the Killing fields/Tuol Sleng or both. Not everyone will agree and it wont be the most cheerful day in the world but it will give you a little understanding of what the people here have gone through.

He's staying on 144st, so he could call in at Vicious Cycle and get a fully guided bicycle tour to Kep for $390, or a day tour in Sihanoukville for $65. http://www.viciouscyclecambodia.com/ :D

OP, do a forum search on things that might interest you.
Try the Cambodia After Dark forum for nightlife and bars, Getting your Fill for places to eat etc.

Something different.

Yea , I agree, but frank lee bent has put you on the wrong track. You can get the same pics of the sun setting by going behind the palace yourself and save money on the river cruise.

It's true man , It's dam true.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
