Every time the Cambodian cops catch druggies or dealers I kick myself for all the negative thoughts I have had about them in the past.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Yes and no. Kick yourself if you think its a good idea, but...
In the local news outlets there are the photos of hundreds of people who get arrested every week (often young people and adolescents) with small amounts of drugs. Mostly meth. The prisons are full.
A lot of people are getting arrested, but the police are not targeting those who need to be targeted. Guess why.

Edit: Take the example above, where the suspects have what ? enough drugs for a big night out ? Ok, this might be not a good idea to you, but looks more like a personal choice to me than international drug trafficking.

South Korean tourists face meth charge
Buth Reaksmey Kongkea / Khmer Times

Two South Korean tourists were arrested for drug use and possession on Wednesday afternoon at the Poipet international Border Checkpoint in Banteay Meanchey province.

Poipet police chief Thin Sindeth identified the suspects as Cho Hwahyung, 57, and Ku Cheol Seon, 40.

“They were casino gamblers. They were arrested after police inspected their room at a casino on Wednesday afternoon,” he said. “They were arrested as they were smoking drugs inside their room.”

Police seized one small package of crystal methamphetamine and four tablets of ice as well as other related drug materials from the room.

They have been temporarily detained for further investigation at the provincial anti-drug unit and will appear at the provincial court for questioning today.

It sounds weird that they "were arrested ... at the Poipet international Border Checkpoint...after police inspected their room at a casino on Wednesday afternoon" and "seized one small package of crystal methamphetamine and four tablets of ice as well as other related drug materials from the room."

Did they know that the cops were searching their room therefore deciding to make a run for the border? Or is the Khmer Times journalist Buth Reaksmey Kongkea, who also wrote the article about the Russian woman, unable to write clearly?
