Swiss man attacked by Thai man in Pattaya (VIDEO)

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Swiss man attacked by Thai man in Pattaya (VIDEO)

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

The Swiss guy goes up and turns off the Thai guy's motorbike and the Thai goes ballistic. Later he makes his excuses before the court - still wearing his helmet!
[Warning: The video sound effects might be a bit much for some.]

I'd like to hear that translation. Why would an accused violent assaulter get the courtesy of covering his face? Is he underage?

There was another case reported yesterday which judging by google translate was a young thai guy robbing an old foreign guy, again the picture had the thai guy in a helmet offering profuse apologies AFTER getting caught. Absolutely ridiculous and not an option offered to foreign criminals. I don't think it was age related.

What is it with Thai men? Either attack if they are outnumbering the opposition 10 -1 or blindside the victim. Cowardly shit.

He said after being scared by a cuckoo clock as a child, he was suffering from a form of PTSD that causes him to lash out at all things Swiss.

I take it back, a young Norwegian was paraded in a full face helmet at the Pattaya nick for faking a robbery for an insurance claim the other day.
