Re: High-end, tricky Christmas presents
I never knew that the correct URL to shop on Alibaba was aliexpress.com -- I'd been using alibaba.com and getting all wholesale lots, so we've got a fall-back if the Sihanoukville lead doesn't pan out.
I have the backpack.

I just PM'ed EBC through FB, asking for any photos they may have of their locking diaries.

Did you just call yourself a nonce?Dangerous Dave wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 5:48 pmYes, please! The wrinkle is that the young lady in question has her heart set on light pink, and she wants the long side at least 19cm (which is A6, if I'm not mistaken), so please don't get rankled if we make this effort for the nonce.

Sure -- though it can also be used as a synonym for nothing -- as it "all for naught."
Meanwhile, my experience with AliExpress last night was ... little short of cardiac-threateningly bad. Anyone who craves twenty or thirty pages of accidental hilarity is invited to read the verbatim chat transcript, here.

Wow! Two hours and twenty minutes on chat. You're a very patient man, Dave.Dangerous Dave wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 12:08 pm Sure -- though it can also be used as a synonym for nothing -- as it "all for naught."

You'll probably end up getting 3 deliveries with the same items.

Re: High-end, tricky Christmas presents
Well after a full day of spinning my wheels with Ali Express and various eBay sellers, I would seem to be approaching a hard impasse on getting either the locking diary, or (it turns out the third child wants) a Minecraft Bow and Arrow.
Any and all assistance is richly appreciated.
