Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

We often talk about how western dudes shouldn't be holding kids who aren't their own too tightly. Does it also apply here? I realize it's basically a NGO marketing photo op, but it still makes me slightly uncomfortable. If it were anyone else or we didn't have any context, people would likely be bashing the guy. Not trying to be a dick as I appreciate the work Neeson has done over the years. It's more of a philosophical question. Has the media made me overly paranoid and distant? Has it distorted a male's view of how to show affection, or is there a double standard or sorts for NGO workers? Should I also be allowed to hold children in the same way he does? Nieces/nephews? A close friend's kid? Neighbours' kids? I'm not saying that how he's holding them is wrong in itself, just that anyone else holding stranger's kids the same way would likely get labelled. I don't even hold nieces and nephews like that. Am I weirdly paranoid/overly cautious, or just safe?

Sadly I agree . (2014) I was walking down the street in PP (street 63) with my visiting granddaughter (father is African) and her mother (white) when she was bitten by an ant. I was holding her hand as we walked. She let out a loud scream and I almost shit myself. Not because she screamed but because of the reaction of people around me. As a group surrounded us one of my tuk tuk drivers arrived and pushed through and explained the family situation.
I was escorted to my home by police and had to show evidence that she was a relative and that my daughter was her mother.
Great that people were looking out for the young girl but it was fucking scary for me and her mother.

Scott has done and is doing an amazing job and is to be respected not suspected.......

I'm all for kids being kept in isolation bubbles that only women are allowed to enter.
