Orchids

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Orchids

Post by rozzieoz »

We see so many tragic and disturbing images on this forum - so I thought I would share something lovely for a change.

It’s so great to have orchids hanging off the branches of a mango tree - just gorgeous!

Please share your orchid photos.

They are my favorite flower. Hell, they're the only flower I like, period.

I buy them whenever I can, and they are surprisingly easy to keep alive.

Your avatar pic is so well matched to that orchid flower, a real poetic eye delight...
Now can we go back to the important stuff? No gory story or pics from the square lately?
I am pretty sure that pit bull owner mofo must have been up to no good since my post about him for a start.

The ones I had all fucking died even though I tried taking care of them.

Had a pot of various dormant plants I'd bundled together, doing nothing for months other than dying. Put them on the opposite side of the property where they got afternoon sun and rainwater, new shoots on all plants in 3 days.
