preferred method of obtaining a 6 month visa extension?

Which is the Preferred and Cheapest way to renew your visa for an extended 6 months, at the end of a 30 day entrance visa. [1] Do it yourself? OR.. [2] Pay someone or service provider {FIXER} to go from Sihanoukville to take care of it for you???

presumably you have an E class visa and will have a letter from your employer to get your work permit as well.
otherwise you will get 3 months.
If over 55 youcan get an ER visa ( retired ) with no supporting docs- then you can get up to 12 months extension of stay.
if you have a tourist visa you get a 30 day extension once then have to do a border run.

thanks frank. i needed that info...being in the 55+ age bracket is not usually very satisfying,... but this time is an exception!

Look at the ER retirement visa. Or do you want to work?

thanks for your kind reply. work? no thanks! should i do the visa leg work myself or let a travel agency take care of that, if i am in sihanoukville...which would be easier and cheaper?
