Travel Insurance

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Travel Insurance

Post by Ronny »

Hey guys, me again. Just wanted to know where I can get travel insurance here in Cambodia. Any suggestions? And generally speaking, how much money are we talking about here? Thanks in advance.

travel insurance for where?
usually you would have needed to take the travel insurance out before you leave your home country to cover the time of you being in a foreign country,
unless you mean health insurance?

Always "hope" but never "expect".

No, I mean actual Travel Insurance in. If I ever decide to go back to the US, I will go by freighter (a 24 day trip via the Atlantic route) and Travel Insurance is required.

It's been 15 years since I've been back to the US and I didn't get Travel Insurance when I left the US back then. But I might need it at some point in the future so can any of you guys point me in the right direction?

Try World Nomads - you can renew and apply from outside your home country I have done it a lot in the recent past
