Is Asia really worth it?
I dunno if it is or isn't.
You really need to add up / think of factors such as...
The huge amount of alcohol consumed and its cost/affect on the liver.
The exhaustion from lack of sleep, bad diet, dehydration heat stress in South east Asia.
General horrible hangovers the local brews seem to give.
Huge excess spending on vices.
Does it all add up to a satisfactory amount of fun for money?
Or is it a massive exhausting mess and dooming us one drink at a time?

I see what goes on around me in places where foreigers congrigate and I see alot of over spending, and most of it on excess drinking.
They organize tourist areas towards excessive behaviour.

He just answered his own question. It's not worth it BKKTrapper, go somewhere else - you don't get the way things are here.
You're describing yourself, and projecting that sad image onto a whole lot of people who you don't know and will never meet.

That is a question you need to ask yourself. Oh I guess you were describing your own activities. All of us have the choice to be a piss head and be a fuckwit. Most I know don't indulge in excess . You seem to be a minority..

not one of these things affect my life in Asia
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
