The only reason I go to Bui Vien is for the Indian restaurant. It is a complete and utter shit hole otherwise with frequent fights, scams, rip-offs, ugly slappers and way to many back-packers and English teachers.

Baba's kitchen indeed. Pretty good (and I grew up with a lot of Indians and went to an Indian school).

Hanoi is the ticket.
Lots to see and eat, the Temple of Literature, cheap beer on the street, Hoan Kiem Lake. And they love Uncle Ho. Great value for your money.

Yeah well, unlike you, I have actually lived/live an interesting life. Oh, and nowhere have I claimed to have lived in Cambodia for 20 years though I have also lived in China, UAE, and Europe.Beerinthemorning wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 5:27 amSo Hanno is a german hotelier / photographer who grew up with indians in kenya whilst also living in Cambodia 20 years whilst somehow also living in south africa.
