UPDATE. 26 October 2017
PHNOM PENH - At 3pm yesterday, 25 October, the suspect who was arrested at 75th Street, Corner of 84th Street in front of the Holiday Hotel in Srah Phnom Penh's Daun Penh district, identified as Leng Theara, appeared in Phnom Penh municipal court.
At the time of the road rage incident, bystanders thought the suspect must be a policeman or military man because he was carrying a gun, but in fact he is a civilian who bought his weapon in a Phnom Penh night club, the Wok Hub Club at Holiday Hotel, Street 84, Srah Chork, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
The night of the incident, Leng Theara went to the Wok Hub club, but he got upset when he was told to leave for bad behavior. He then left the premises of Holiday Hotel in his car, and mad with anger, he promptly drove his car into a nearby lamp post several times. That made him even more angry, so he took out his gun and fired it around, hitting a nearby car, but no one was injured. He was arrested almost immediately by police.
The suspect is now awaiting sentence.

Unless it hits you in the head. 22s are great assassination guns, two in the head at close range do the trick.

Re: Firearm discharged in road rage incident, Phnom Penh
yeah but look at the piece and the wanker that owned it
all "stai" no substance
plus, he did not actually shoot "at" anyone. the lamp post maybe, or his own car.
that is not a very credible weapon.
a hat pin would do better in the hands of a killer.
this kid is prolly a punk from a rich family

Re: Firearm discharged in road rage incident, Phnom Penh
A few details were lost in translation in the above post. This version definitely makes more sense.
Corrected version: The 'road rager' is a police officer who took his gun to the Holiday Hotel to pick up his wife from work. She was late again as usual, and this made him jealous and suspicious, and he sat there getting more and more angry. When his wife finally came out to the car, they started to have a big argument, so to calm himself down he fired four shots into his wing mirror.
The officer tried to blame the incident on his wife for making him so angry, but the excuse didn't wash and he was taken away by police for illegal use of a firearm.

I was looking at that gun for a while, it looked high-tech at first and then I thought it might be just a cheap POS. Either way I wouldn't want that laser aimer thing pointing at me, it could make you blind.frank lee bent wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2017 4:57 pm thats a punk ass little round, what is it a .22 rimfire? you would need 5 rounds of that to kill a wabbit.
