I worked with a few Irish teachers over the years.
" I taught he sayed this . . ."
In English we'd say " I thought he said this . . . "
Nothing against the Irish, but maybe the OP could work online with his IT skills.

Well yes we can be difficult to understand but that's only if we talk normal pace which is usually quite fast and contains a lot of slang,
So that's why it is difficult , iv been to America, South korea,Norway,Portugal and they can understand me fine,When i just talk a bit slower and Don't use my slang we can actually talk a bit posh when we need too .lol

Does a TEFL/TESOL certificate change much if you dint have a degree? My story is pretty much the same but I got a certificate- so is teaching a realistic option or no?
