3 lost/stolen passports

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Lost/stolen from where? Hotel/guesthouse in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, . . . .?

Have you reported it to the police? And your embassy?

Yea, a bit more information would be helpful.

In addition to reporting it to the cops and your embassy, post on as many Cambodia related Facebook groups as possible, and give your information to as many guesthouses, hotels, etc.

If you don't recover them, you will need to get new passports or ETD's ASAP,you will then need to take the police report and lost or stolen report from your embassy to the Immigration department in order to apply for exit visas, $20 and only valid for 7 days, so plan accordingly.

Good luck.

Based on Facebook investigations, I'm guessing they went missing in Sihanoukville. Correct me if I'm wrong, Brett.

Same cryptic message was posted on Sihanoukville FB without more details of where, when and how.
But '$100 reward' was added underneath.

The blog should probably include some advice for travelers on keeping their belongings safe.
