It's pretty disturbing. AFAIK, the weirdo right-wing sites did just pick this guy Geary Danley at random because he has the same surname as the girlfriend. He's a witch. (Or even worse, a Democrat.)
The proof that if something gets repeated enough online, then it becomes a "fact", and even more so if it is picked up by giants like google, twitter and FB, as happened in this case.

Since 1982 there have been 760 fatalities involved in mass shootings in the USA. (including 59 dying in Las Vegas)

more worryingly, of these 760 people, 395 were killed by people that had known mental health issues.

Of the 395 that had mental health issues, 307 actually obtained there gun legally. How can this be? Surely even if for some reason you believe in the right to bear arms this should be taken away after being diagnosed?

Conspiracy theories already going around that the shooter was set up and there were multiple shooters.

There was a video going around earlier of what looked like shots (you could see something that looks like muzzle flash) coming from the 4th floor. Can’t seem to find the video anymore.
