In a daring daylight robbery, burglars escape with money and jewellery

PURSAT - At 1:20 pm on 26 September 2017, a group of daring burglars broke in through a window at the residence of Keo Sokin at midday and committed a daring daylight burglary while the woman of the house was at the market selling pork, the husband was away on business and the son was at school.
The properties stolen were 3 necklaces, a metallic necklace bead, a bracelet, a diamond ring, a metallic ring, 10 million Riel, 4 280 USD, 160 AUD, 1 8000 Bhat, 2 ATM cards, a bank notebook, and an ID card. Local police are investigating the incident.

That's a fair wedge to leave lying around the house, roughly $7500. Especially if you have a wooden house with those weak old window bars.
