Khan Chamkar Mon Authority Bans Street Food Stalls By The Gate of Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital

I wish they'd clear the whole of 271, closer to the bridge ta Chbar Ampov, the sidewalks are non-existent and full of foodcarts after 4pm

Well it's a huge waste of space really. It's nice for a hospital to have a decent pavement around it but theirs is about 8-10 meters wide. It could be used better, but I'd imagine the hospital is not too keen on giving up any space, once they do that where would it end? *
* The nurse training center to the east on 271 was bought out by the 999 oknha who is developing that huge supermarket on the site now. Before that site was cleared a much more modern training center was built behind the hospital so I think it was a sort of swap that worked out well for both parties.

As far as I can see, it doesn't get used for anything, ever, total waste of space. Turn it into paid parking for visitors or general public.

This would be the ideal solution for the food vendors in front of the hospital. No traffic congestion.

More than a dozen food carts in front of the hospital again last night. Who had dibs on 2 weeks?

I saw the guards out yesterday morning moving the stalls and this morning there were no stalls there either. Unfortunately for the first couple of shops after the hospital they all pile in front of there instead, and make a total mess throwing garbage everywhere.StroppyChops wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2017 4:27 pm More than a dozen food carts in front of the hospital again last night. Went to and came back from the airport from 7.30pm last night, the place was crawling with them, both sides of the road - perhaps there's a point in the evening where they're unseen, possibly the point just after when the cops go home.John Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2017 4:52 pmI saw the guards out yesterday morning moving the stalls and this morning there were no stalls there either.
