what does the solar panels charge? ur battery??
usually at sea mosquito nets are not needed. if there are any you just move away from land.

Re: Boat
First I would like to thank tathom for calling round to visit me the other day. He is a very knowledgeable man on the subject of boats and boating here in Cambodia.
So the other day I had a ride around again viewing second hand craft, and not in many cases.
This craft is in daily use for crabbing I understand.
I had took on board some of tathom's advice to seek out a smaller craft to get to know the waterways of the area. I had talked with him about an offer I had before. A small fiberglass boat with engine.
But this I think is just a little small, so I had inquired about the bigger size. I am now waiting for the owner to give me his price. But also I have been told there is a distributor in town selling new boats.

Re: Boat
Those little blue boats are what they used for crossing the river before the bridge was built.

Re: Boat
my car would never have fit on those, LOL
we used the big ferry boats for crossing from KK- onwards across the rivers
If all u want is a small boat like why not buy something like a Zodiac and put a little 15 hp engine on it

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
Re: Boat
I agree with you Richard, I have only found one so far willing to post to Cambodia. I have emailed more sellers if they will post.
Would anyone know if there would be import duty?

Re: Boat
I would count on it.
Money is human happiness in the abstract; he, then, who is no longer capable of enjoying human happiness in the concrete devotes himself utterly to money.
