Umm, since this will only apply to UK airports, the Brits will all leave on holiday sober, they will arrive very thirsty, and come back legless ???
Lol.

Boozy Brits admit getting drunk on the plane before starting their holidayJerry Atrick wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 5:06 pmStunning insight there, thanks mate.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 4:28 pm

BRIT holidaymakers are so eager to reach for alcohol that many start boozing at the airport.
The new survey showed that one in seven travellers choose not to be sober and instead decide to guzzle alcohol to get in the "holiday spirit".

Air India still give out the little bottles of wine, when you ask for a second one they work out that you are a boozer and give you a couple. Air india were one of the last airlines to ban smoking. But it was only the back rows. So all the boozers and smokers would congregate at the back, it was like one big party.

Problem is that the boozy Brits are going to make flying even less fun for the rest of us if they keep this up. There will be breathalyzers before boarding and limited alcohol on board the planes in the name of airline security.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 5:31 pmBoozy Brits admit getting drunk on the plane before starting their holidayJerry Atrick wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 5:06 pmStunning insight there, thanks mate.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 4:28 pm

IME, Russians flying drunk are even worse, but that's another story.

in UK airports you have to present your boarding pass every time you purchase anything in the shops/bars/restaurants and it gets scanned and loggedAnchor Moy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 5:52 pmProblem is that the boozy Brits are going to make flying even less fun for the rest of us if they keep this up.
