Are there invasive tree species here? IE how to burn wood yet not be part of deforestation

As in the title:

In some parts of the rest of the world you have invasive species of trees that you can use for firewood, lumber, whatever, and not mess up eco-systems.
Mind you, that mainly happens in places where people actually care about ecology. Are there any trees here that definitely should not be here? If not, I guess the only option left for a non-bastard to run a wood-fired oven, would be to make "bricks" from surplus sawdust. Anybody here got thoughts on this matter?

Don't worry, all the good wood has already been logged.

Have you logged into coffee husk pellets?

I looked into that (admittedly a few years back) and couldn't find any; started using the coffee husk briquettes instead. I think a lot of the rice husks are used to fire kilns.

Cowpats also make great polished floors - they've been doing it in Africa for generations.
