2 People Killed When 2 Tourist Boats Crash Into Each Other in Cambodia

CAMBODIA NEWS: On 10 August 2017 at 4:30 pm on the Mekong river, there was a tourist boat that crashed into another tourist boat which was returning back to shore. There were about ten people on the returning boat. Among all of them two men were killed, Mr. Kun Mao—50 years of age and Tep Mony at the age of 43. They were both from Sam Roung village, Phsar Chhnang commune, Kompong Chhnang district.

In this accident, some people jumped out from the boats and some could not escape and got impacted causing severe and minor injuries. There was not foreign tourist that were injured.

The boat’s driver, who caused the accident, was arrested after rescuing everybody out of water. His name is Seoun Phally, a 50 year-old man who lives Taour Rolom village, Kompong Hao commune, Kompong Leng district. Both tourist boats were kept by the local authorities.

I don't recognize it, so I'm guessing it's upstream from the main ones on Phnom Penh's riverside, or even across the river somewhere.
