I've got an Asus laptop that I'm going to install Linux mint or ubuntu on, or any other OS, after I get there, then sell. PM if interested.

Brilliant. I'll just take the bus to SR to buy a $20 monitor. I guess I could fly, that might be quicker.

There is a little wooden shack close to BKK market that has a whole bunch of monitors outside. I don't know if they repair them or they are all busted but if you are passing that way might be worth a look. It's basically right at the bottom of 57 street that joins the road BKK market is on.

There is a japanese second hand appliance shop on the corner of mao tse tung and 202, opposite the mondial centre, they have tons usually, but make them check it first, half of the laptops don't work, can't remember the name but it is right on the corner so not too hard to find maybe.Image
