I just put ALL of my beloved Bitcoins in Ether. Pray for me. I hope to weather the supposed storm that's happening at the moment, in preparation for the hard fork (which I believe has been called off as of right now, but who knows, and either way it seems certain to deflate Bitcoin, for now...). I'd like to state that I would prefer to be putting it all in Bitcoin Cash right now, but my wallet doesn't support adding TO my Bitcoin Cash wallet. Ain't that some shit. I'll get it sorted when I have time.

Will it happen, will it not, will it be a 2X fork later, or what, I can't take the suspense...

The good news is that my Bitcoin Cash is worth almost 6 TIMES what it was worth when it magically appeared in my wallet, so that's good!

Overall I'm up a good bit! "Invested" $480 into Bitcoin and Ethereum over the past year, and it's all worth about $2,200 right now (no fucking thanks to ETH). Not too shabby, if I can just survive the hard fork...

General Mac, you're supposed to sell on the highs and buy on the dips. A few hours back Bitcoin dropped to around $5100. That was a ripe opportunity to buy, not sell.

And, the hard fork was cancelled a few days back. That's why the big sell-off of Bitcoin. Everyone was buying in the hope of getting some free coin from the split (a la Bitcoin Cash).

Chances are you'd have sold them long before reaching today's market price.
