Skipped though this as I can't get into reading books but some good ideas in it. Plenty of free downloads on the net
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

he lead a hell of a life>> an lived in some fantastic times
"Anarchist, heroin addict, alcoholic, and brilliant writer, Burroughs was the patron saint of the Beats"
“Almost indecently readable . . . captures [Burroughs’s] destructive energy, his ferocious pessimism, and the renegade brilliance of his style.”—Vogue

He often went with teenage ( 15+ age) boys in Mexico and Tangiers where he lived and where it was not considered immoral at the time> Not trying to justify it but merely telling it for what it was.Big Daikon wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 12:28 pmHe was also a pederast and a wife killer. accidental wife killer, he was showing off playing William tell with his wife, she put a glass on her head and the gun accidentally fired low, or so he and the 2 witnesses say....he was convicted in absentia of homicide and given a 2 year suspended sentence. Happened in Mexico, its also the reason he gives that made him become a writer.
Neither take away for the fact he was fantastic beat writer

I thought I was reading 1984 by George Orwell, but then realized it was just my local newspaper.
