Anyone? History of the Place. In My opinion it was not the old. But there was definitely fight before it was leaved as it was.
Was there fight between police and locals? Any real local knowledge? It was not old.

I thought you said it WAS old? You should have a YouTube channel. I'd watch it.RikuPontinen888 wrote:Anyone? History of the Place. In My opinion it was not the old. But there was definitely fight before it was leaved as it was.

Deported? Two whole years. You must of scared the Khmers. Or do you think it maybe just a little bad karma for steeling religious items?
What you going to do with yourself now. Back in your homeland as it is?

I think My case was more about other expats and my energy. My karma is clear as Khmer police robbed My gold chains. But I am strange case when I think about it.
I got in situation I did not asked. I was pushed whole trough and got locally so "famous" I could not handle it as a One Guy. And actually My plan is to bring these back.
Plus I have two red spiritualistic flags from the Ghost Houses I will ask about later.

Not really. If they were actually abandoned it doesn't matter. If you went and took statues or offerings from an operational shrine people could be a bit upset. However, I have seen countless shrines and statues tossed out on the side of the road. It seems they don't have any significance once discarded. People just buy new ones and the reverence/ focus is transferred to them.Fourkinnel wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2017 6:13 pm FFS what or who gave you the right to take them. The locals have strong beliefs in these spirit pleasing things. Very upset if they know they've been took out of the country. Have you seen any ghosts in your house lately?

Do you understand that what you did was the same as stealing crosses and communion cups from a church.RikuPontinen888 wrote:

You stole religious items. That's really not cool and I'm not even religious!
it's hugely inappropriate and disrespectful to Khmer people, who you claim to love.
Those items should be returned to Sihanoukville with an apology.

I am very Buddhist and I understood fully. So I adopted those items as they were leaved there under the sun and rain and NO ONE to take care of them. I actually consider after My two years as a blacklisted is finished to bring those back. I love all the people. But Cambodian streets took My Chinese Buddhist necklace in the street fight and broked it down so mystery happened and I found out these items.
Go check the place. It's a small road to the uphill.
Middle of no where. In front of the old police station.
It was all leaved there so I picked them up , washed them up Immediately and holded them as My most biggest gift from the Buddha.
But yeah, I see your point. But My life in Finland would be really empty without those protectors.
I am not sorry 4 what I did.

It's not even remotely like that. How many times have you seen crosses or communion cups thrown out at the side of the road? These shrines are attached to a place. If a family moves house they will usually leave the old shrine and get a new one for their new house. The old ones just get left there or tossed out.rozzieoz wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2017 11:27 pmDo you understand that what you did was the same as stealing crosses and communion cups from a church.RikuPontinen888 wrote:

I don't think there's a big deal with you taking them if they were thrown away.RikuPontinen888 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2017 11:43 pm

However, as I tried to say before, they are not Buddhist. So you obviously don't understand. They are ancestral shrines and the figures represent the guardian spirits of the grandfather/ grandmother.
