Drunk Chinese casino worker smashes into 2 cars, 9 motos and a house.

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

The Australian limit is 0.05 so he was 12 times the limit.
You are also confusing BAC with a breath alcohol measurement. He's not comatose when blowing in the photo.
"Australia has strict laws about drinking alcohol and driving, with the legal limit set at 0.05 blood alcohol concentration (BAC)"

OK I was wondering how he could even sit up, let alone drive (or be it crash). They always say someone "blew 0.x" in the news though.

It is a stupid chart with no defined units. It could be frogs per rabbits.

As I said in my edit, 0.05%BAC is 0.15mg/l, so he's 4x over Aus.

This might help to explain things
What are the limits ?

This can cause lots of confusion because there are different methods of measuring the alcohol in a breath sample.

In the UK the current limit is:

0.35mg/l = 0.08%BAC = 0.80 mg/ml (Promille) = 0.8g/l

Scotland is:

0.22mg/l = 0.05%BAC = 0.50 mg/ml (Promille) = 0.5g/l

In many parts of Europe the limit is

0.22mg/l = 0.05%BAC = 0.50 mg/ml = 0.50 g/l

50mg/100ml BLOOD

There are also different limits depending on whether you are measuring breath alcohol, blood alcohol or urine alcohol. Please do not confuse these measurements with weights - this is volume The legal limit for alcohol levels in the body whilst driving a vehicle in the UK (except Scotland) are currently:

35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of breath = 0.35mg/l BrAC

80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood

107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of urine
0.08% BAC (Blood Alcohol Content).

Looks like he's going to miss his high school graduation.

As for nationality, the Chinese certainly have no monopoly on drunken behavior. Hungarians are probably the worst. Or, is Vladimir Bulgarian? I can't remember...

Agreed it should have units (which should be mg/100ml of breath tested if my reckoning is correct)
So he's about double the English limit. In Aus you must be over the limit just from looking at a beer. :beer3:
