All of my CEO articles are ruined...
All of my CEO articles are ruined...
Sorry everyone,
Recently I've found every picture I've posted is being held ransom for a "small" fee of $399 a year by photobucket (the site I used to load images to), and if I don't pay up, I'll never be able to link to other websites from photobucket again....which I thought was the point of that website in the first place?? So as of now, all of my CEO articles (and TOF articles...and all the other posts I've made on other forums you may know me on) are now pictureless and for the most part, pointless. Despite the years of posts that are affected however, I am absoulutely not paying photobucket anything and they can crash and burn for all I care, in fact, I hope they do.
Sorry everyone, hopefully it reverses course.

Do you have a link to one of them handy? I'll see if there's anything that can be done (no, I won't be starting a GoFundMe account to raise $399, LoL).
Bummer if we can't find a solution.

@ AE86
Wow, that stinks. But of course you're not going to pay $400 for using your own photos.
Anyone else here using Photobucket ?

Fuck them and their suicidal business decision. Just went and downloaded the few images I have on there in anticipation of losing access to them and that stupid company folding.

If you can PM me the affected threads, I will see if I can find and restore the images. No promises.
Re: All of my CEO articles are ruined...
I still have mine too , not very large album tho.
They tell me it is $99./yr for an unlimited account.
Wondering if you are not being scammed/phished. Have you contacted them directly without using any email link you have been sent ?
