AirAsia world's best low-cost airline for 9th consecutive year.

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

AirAsia world's best low-cost airline for 9th consecutive year.

Post by Kung-fu Hillbilly »

I pretty much use AirAsia exclusively because they're always the cheapest to where I fly, so I probably don't have much of a basis for comparison. But, if what AirAsia offers, other than price, is regarded as the worlds best and has been for a decade, I dread to think what it's like flying with the competition.
PARIS: AirAsia has been named the World's Best Low-Cost Airline for the ninth time in a row at the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

The awards, known as the "Oscars of the aviation industry", was presented to Asia's largest low-cost carrier at a ceremony held at Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, Le Bourget Airport in Paris on Tuesday.

I've flown the main (Malaysian) AirAsia a lot. And I'd be happy to fly Thai AirAsia. But I would not fly Indonesian AirAsia ever.

Actually I read just today Tony Fernandez has dropped plans for flights to mainland US and UK and they will stick to flights under 9-10 hours duration. He said they will let the full service airlines fight it out on price on the longer routes. Probably a wise strategy.

Can't fault air asia flown with them loads of times, great value for money,
Jetstar are the worst, i paid an extra £100 on top of my flight to Australia (9 hour flight) so i could have in flight entertainment and a meal, get on the flight n i get nothing, i kicked off n the staff were clueless and i still ended up with nothing was fuming (and starving) cunts!

Apart from being cheap and (usually) punctual, the added bonus of Thai AirAsia is that most of their air hostesses are smoking hot :thumb:
