It doesn't specify if they want a native speaker or not. It might be for a local teacher, in which case the salary isn't too shabby (but not that attractive either). Could be nice for a recent graduate.

no, not normal foreigner wage- that would be $800-$1200 at the low end

I read it as an advert for a Khmer...because it stated that applicants from Kampong Speu would get preference.

It was originally posted on an expats FB page I think, but since it says $300pm with preference for inhabitants of Kampong Speu with food included - tell your friends and relatives etc., it's a job for a local, or for a barang that wants to go native. You know, from time to time, someone appears here looking for a job in the "real" Cambodia. Well, there you go.

Shouldn't there be some hazardous duty pay just for venturing into Kampong Speu. That place is so ugly a mother couldn't love it.

So it's 2017 and after the elections, and the Khmer teaching wage has had a rise. What is the accommodation offered.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
