Sihanoukville tuktuk driver accused of fake/bad money scam

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Not sure what really happened here, but it's no surprise to see that it involves the tuktuk drivers parked at the top of Serendipity Rd, across from Utopia. It seems that someone tried to pay a tuktuk with a $50 bill and got ripped notes in change.

Yesterday night the tuktuk driver on there corner you see in the map cheated me for 40 usd with fake money.
The money is ripped in the end as shown on the picture.
I payed with a 50 dollar bill withs the guy changed to another fake 50 dollar bill and told me it was no good.
That was when I saw what the guy was doing.

There was 3 guys there so did nothing other then not wanted to change his fake 50 dollar.
Careful with the tuktuk drivers, seems like they took the next step of cheating.

It clearly says fake money on the bills. Coloured out with pen. The fact they are on photocopy paper should warn you, US money is made of cotton. I think every taxi driver in the world is a robbing cunt, the Chinese (again) are notorious for it
