Low standard in the girly bars at the minute

I just joined and read all posts on this thread, a good read and a good laugh, plus the usual

in between well writtten posts.

I would like to react on a few things, first "BLAME THE CHINESE" for taking down Sihanoukville.

I live there and it is true that Chinese companies are building a lot of casinos, hotels and buying up apartments for their personnel.
But does that bother me? No, not at all. Chinese don't frequent bars (in general) so I don't meet them there. They visit restaurants but as there are plenty of restaurants it's not a problem. The majority of Chinese stay at their hotel, which has a casino inside or next door, they go from their room to the restaurant and up to the casino. Those that like some female fun head to one of the KTV's (Karaoke) where they rent a room for karaoke, booze and girls. Btw the better KTV's have stunningly beautiful girls, those under 18 are only serving drinks, those 18+ are for singing and other pleasant activities.

Those hiso KTV's are not for cheap charlies as prices are a bit steep, but it's big fun if you are with a bunch of friends.

So all in one, in spite of the many Chinese there is no problem.

The "Girlie bar business" is a trade that you should treat according to their modus operandi. The better you know the trade the better you can act and react to it.

I know it's difficult to find stunners among thte girls, but they are there, I find them each time I'm in PP and of course I know where they are in SHV where I live.
I think some people watch but don't see. If you walk along the bars of e.g. 136 Street there are many chubby girls, I admit, but in between them there are cuties, stunners. Not all of them are for take away, some are just hostesses, but it's still a good way to have a nice time with a stunning girl and leave without taking her to your place. If you're only into sex you should try the freelancers at Pontoon, great looking girls for take away, but again not for cheap charlies as they charge quite a bit for a quality time.
Just back from PP I came along stunners at Helicopter, Sizzlers, Madame (new one), 136 bar (which is not on 136 street but the side street), former Office bar (118 Str) and as mentioned Pontoon. Some bars are open 24/24 so time enough to go there and have fun.

SHV is much smaller and has less choice. But the bars are nicely concentrated in clusters so a nice stroll. Stunners are there but you have to find them. The one trick that you should avoid is the cute girl outside the bar, asking if you would come in for a drink, then disappears once you have ordered, and a chubby one is sitting next to you and asks for a drink. I always answer the cute girl outside that yes I will have a drink and I buy her one too. That way she will stay with me and another one gets the task of attracting customers outside. Little trick but it works.
If you're young and fancy loud music there is at least one disco with stunning girls (LV) and for those that fancy a nightclub there is Boudoir inside of Queenco hotel and casino.

So it's not that bad in PP or SHV with the quality of girls.

I agree ! And thanks to the Chinese business many things are available for cheaper than before.

But what about Chinese students, are there any around Sihanouk ? Even if they do not study I like their fair skin, if you can tell me where I should look

With my scooter i was riding in the redlight district in Sihanoukville and was like : "Oh! There are many 30/40 old chubby dragons

, they will eat me alive if a stop there". But I took the time to search and found the good spot with nice young cuties.
Later my reflexion was : "why so many old women in the girly bars?", the majority of these girls shouldn't be cute, young and thin to attract customers? But after I saw so many old expat in there 50/60 and more. So maybe they feel more confortable with these women, like I fell more confortable with a nice girl but not too cute. I don't want her to be too beautifull. High standard girls are asking for high standard in exchange and I'm a fucking cheap Charlie!

I'm interested to know how long ago you are talking about? Afaik, there is no barang red light district left in Sihanoukville. Victory Hill is now almost exclusively chinese owned and barang aren't "encouraged" to be there, Blue mountain was taken over by them at least 2 years ago, downtown hasn't had a redlight district for years. The beach, the Square and Pub street no longer exist and I think there is 1 left on Serendipity beach road. The new "Youth Centre" only has about 5 bars (not all girlie bars either) and you certainly wouldn't need to ride through it to see the different bars. The Chicken farm has never been for barangs, although occasionally the odd one would go there (looking at you Mr. Lambo

). So, as I said, I'm interested to know where and when you were there?
