SIHANOUKVILLE: A woman on a motorbike was killed today in Village 2, Sangkat 3,Sihanoukville, not far from Psar Leu, Sihanoukville's main market, when a large HYUNDAI White White Number plate 3C-4685 truck drove into the motorbike from behind. The victim was identified as a 32-year-old woman named Ly Ching, living in Sihanoukville.

The driver was a 19 year old male from Koh Kong, driving the truck for a Phnom Penh owner. The driver immediately fled the scene, but he has been identified, and police are on the lookout for the suspect.

PHNOM PENH. Last night, a bad accident involving a collision between a large truck and a motorbike with three men happened at 10 minutes past midnight on October 10, 2017, the corner of the new Monivong Bridge on the east of National Road 1, Street 369, Sangkat Chba Ampov I, Khan Chbar Ampov.
The motocyclists were taken away to hospital by ambulance, and the truck driver was taken for questioning by the police.

And so it goes on, with yet another tragic death reported on Cambodia's roads today. There has officially been a drop in the number of traffic deaths so far this year, yet this is happening all the time, far too often, where truck drivers and motorcyclists are implicated in some of the deadliest road accidents.

Another serious accident happened today between a truck and motorbike at 3:50 pm on October 10, 2017, along National Road 5, Street 151 (Road to Preak Pnov Market), Prek Pnov Village, Sangkat Prek Pnov, Prek Pnov District.
According to by-standers, the motorcycle was traveling at high speed along the national road when the truck turned into Peak Pnov market. Two young men were on the motorbike; one is dead, and the other is in hospital with serious injuries.
