I'm that guy who had wanted this posted to warn others of this unethical practice. Yes I'm a Malaysian Chinese. So what? There are some who may think it's funny making all types of comments, but please don't let this scam happen to others. For $450 @ $3.50 = 128 lady drinks. That's really an absurd figure. Is my drinks considered a ladydrink too at $3.50? The boss throw her staff a birthday party. Don't put that to my tab. She should buy not me. So what if that girl is with me? When you ask me if I want another drink when I'm finish, yes I do but I didn't say buy the whole bar a round. It's really ridiculous for them to try justify their bill by showing that I'm having a great time on video and with photos. Yes I'm happy until I saw the bill. I was not their 1st victim. So I guess there will be another. Just Google Candy Bar and you will read many misadventures.

yes mate i had done the maths in a post earlier in the thread
sounds like he was drunk and got a bit carried away, still, $450 is a hell of a lot of $3.50 lady drinks
in fact, if he was drinking spirits too, and so was his girlfriend, thats 128 drinks, divide that by the 11 people you can see in the pictures, thats roughly 11 drinks each, there could have been more girls as she mentions girls coming from other bars for a drink, so its not completely out of reach if you take into account some of them drinks could be shots
fuck knows why he wasnt keeping track of his bill though
after reading your comment though, and after what that other girl had posted
it sounds like you took a girl from the bar and took her to Koh Rong for a week,
upon your return to Phnom Penh it was said girls birthday
so im guessing the girl they are calling your girlfriend is not really your girlfriend and just some girl you'd taken out from the bar
knowing that, i can fully understand where youre coming from,
and possible "intentional" miss communication on their part, at your expense, by not being clear when and when you was not buying ladydrinks

everytime im in a bar buying lady drinks, i always check my tab, ever since one bar was charging me for the lady drink + the mixer that went with it, or after 1 or 2 drinks, the girl might change drink and the ladydrinks have gone from $3.50 up to $4.00/4.50, usually if the girl changes from a whisky/beer to a Bruntys Cider or something, just another heads up :thumb:

It was outright intentional Jamie. I still have all the order chits and receipts. There's discrepancies in them. It's like everyone at the bar ordered and put under my bill.

wouldnt surprise me mate, should be the cashiers responsibility to check on your order if they think the girls are taking the piss, but then, im thinking logically

Like I said above, Candy has a long history of vulturism. If you don't keep your wits about you, you will be picked clean. In my one and only visit, I could see evidence of adamantium steel and made for the door.

Ah, the images of the bar tabs. Seems I forgot to post them:
