Privileged snowflakes begging for travel funds in SEA

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Quitted? I could barely type that had to fight with autocorrect lol.

Personally I loath back packers. They'd do better by starting a travel blog and asking for donations there. I'd never give them money even if I knew they wanted to somehow sell or promote their travel photography.

I have much more respect for people before and today that travel and find work where they can to support their travels.

I guess I'm part of their "generation". I've never, except as a teenager, had things handed to me. I'm worked and supported myself since I was 20, started working at 16.

Or try this, FundMyTravel site:

https://www.fundmytravel.com/
From the DM:
There is even a dedicated website, fundmytravel, which allows people to appeal for donations to 'fund meaningful travel experiences.'

While many projects on the site seem to be linked to worthy causes - such as humanitarian work in impoverished countries - others seem to be less deserving.

One recent appeal, entitled 'David and Bash extreme budget backpackers take on SE Asia!', seeks funding for David and partner Sebastian to enjoy 'outrageous adventure, eating bugs, cliff diving, scuba and jungle trekking.'

Created two days ago, the pair are asking for $2,850 - $1,000 for airfare, $850 for accommodation, and another $1,000 to spend. So far they have received $20.

Not sure where you think I'm attacking her/them, I only alluded to not respecting them. What ever happened to accountability? I did stupid things when I was younger too and was rightfully called out on it, but hey I'll tick one off in my imaginary score card since my life is so empty

Please explain why these very few and minimal impact people rile you more than those with MFI investments/ agents who are taking money from the poor and are approaching maximum saturation levels.
I don't think these begbackers have ever caused a poor person to sell their daughter, commit suicide or lose their home.

Strange language huh Peck Acquitted is fine but quitted is not.

9.
to give up or resign one's job or position:
He keeps threatening to quit.
10.

11.

adjective
12.
