For a brand new steel roof don't listen to the local roof maker bullshit, go to a metal roofing brand shop like ICI on Mao Tsetung and order white color insulated sheets.
They cost about double compare to the regular ones but not only will they allow for much more than 10° gain they will also cut the noise down when rainning.

Ps: I don't even try anymore to educate khmers on the advantage of having a light colored roof. They just want to have the same as their neighbors which will of course be of the worst possible color when it comes to reflecting the sun (blue, red, pine green) :facepalm:
