Water pressure in PP
I know there is a topic on Low water pressure , but cannot find it. But has anyone noticed the very high water pressure we have now. I have lived in the same apartment for nearly 10 years and have never ever known the water pressure to be this high. Have had to be very careful when using the bum gun.

Has someone dicked about with the valve/stop cock on your mains hookup? Most of the connections, certainly here, are cranked down to the minimum flow as all the hoses and joints pop when you apply full pressure. As I discovered. At least now I get hot water out of the shower.

I use both: a preliminary wipe, a spray and a wipe to dry.
If the pressure is too high you might consider installing a tap to the bum gun hose to turn it down.

No, A tap will not reduce the pressure, it will only reduce the flow rate. To reduce the pressure you need a pressure reducing valve.timmydownawell wrote:I use both: a preliminary wipe, a spray and a wipe to dry.

If you already know the answer I'm not sure why you'd ask the question.Duncan wrote:timmydownawell wrote:OK so get one of those!Duncan wrote:No, A tap will not reduce the pressure, it will only reduce the flow rate.
