NGO for sale

This is where you can buy and sell anything you want in Cambodia! There is no 'Craigslist Cambodia,' so this is the next best thing. Most items for sale are in Phnom Penh, but this is a buy and sell section for the whole country. Many expats and tourists have new and used items to sell, so anyone can list them here. CEO has no part in these sales, so buyers and sellers need to get in contact with each other themselves. You're always welcome to list items you're giving away for free, as we encourage the community to give when they can. Amazon and eBay ship select items to Cambodia, but you save time and money when you do things locally.

"seem a bit distasteful selling a non profit org."

Why? Do you harbour the illusion that they are run by bleeding hearts with no profit motive at all?
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

"ngos dont male profits u twit". Wanna bet? No use talking with you; you are incorrigibly uninformed. However I will incorporate your insult in the recommendations section of my CV.

A moment's thought will make it obvious that tons of money and sweat and effort and love have gone into this venture - the founders
realistically hope to get SOMETHING (at least) back.

Realism is NOT sneering cynicism.

someone will have to offer a lot of sweat , effort and love as a purchasing offer. Tons of money from donations schould just be forwarded to the new organisation and used for its original intent.
NGO was a new thing at one time, and for some reason people bought it. Now that many get tired of it, how about the new FMP, as in fill my pockets. Schould take off real well.

precisely, donations have gone into setting up and operations of these NGOs, why the hell arent they just donating whatever remains to the people or cause that they are helping? i think sneering is mild in this case, stone throwing sould be more appropriate

How do you think NGO's operate?
Everything works on margin.
In reality all are businesses. Gotta pay the bills.
