Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Update: The Chinese interpreter has told police that on the night of 22 January, the young man's employers held a company party where there was a lot of food, and especially drink consumed. They are blaming his death on drinking too much red wine, as well as beer.
According to witnesses, Zhou went to pass out on his dormitory bed around 10 or 11pm that night, but when his room-mates found him, he was having respiratory difficulties. They attempted CPR and he was transported to hospital urgently, but unfortunately he died on the way.

may he rest in peace. I would not, had I died in a dormitory bed. Unreal, people working abroad for a casino while having to camp out in a dorm. I always thought that was only for backpackers and fleebreeders.

absolutely correct, try having a 3 day layover with your Phillipino crew in Paris.....it will be very boring as they will stay in the hotel, washing, cooking the rice they brought along and nipping the carpet on the way out. Equates to about the same the chinks tend to do. :thumb:

Something like that. I never heard of someone ODing on too much red wine - and I have a lot of experience.

Well, another stupid sad death, dying too young in the KOW. RIP.

Maybe the cheapest of the cheap imported stuff from china laced with formalin as the preservative. Or that gutter oil they use for cooking with.
